Lord Walton of Detchant gave the 12th annual Alan Emery Lecture at Green Templeton College, Oxford on 5 June 2008. His lecture was entitled 'A Myologist in the House'.
After a brief early history of research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, or Meryon's disease, Lord Walton concluded with an excellent summary of current progress in cybrid development and the future possibilities of stem cell therapy.
